Casa Grande Familia, custom WordPress site for a Spanish holiday villa

Project

A lightweight WordPress site for Casa Grande Familia, a villa in Benissa (Costa Blanca, Spain). Primary CTAs route to the external booking flow on Micazu and a downloadable brochure.

My role

Development of a custom WordPress theme, content model, and conversion flow. I structured the site around clear sections—Ontdek de casa (overview + gallery), Omgeving (area guides), Beschikbaarheid (pricing & rules), and Contact—and tuned performance and basic SEO.

What I built

• Information architecture: top-level nav (Home, Ontdek de casa, Omgeving, Impressie, Beschikbaarheid, Contact).
• Area guides under Omgeving: Restaurants, Suppen & Snorkelen, Wielrennen, Golfen, and activities with kids—each with concise write-ups and “Boek nu” handoffs.
• Gallery/Impressie with large, fast-loading images to showcase interiors, pool, and terraces.
• Availability & pricing page with period pricing, linens/cleaning fees, deposit, and house rules (no pets, no youth groups).
• Contact UX with WhatsApp/phone and email, plus address details.
• Performance & UX: responsive imagery, semantic headings, touch-friendly CTAs, Dutch locale copy.
